Cruise drugs case: Seven accused granted bail

A total of 20 people, including guests and organisers, were arrested early October in this case

A Special NDPS court on Saturday granted bail to seven more accused, including organisers of the event, in the Cordelia cruise drugs case. With this, a total of 12 accused have managed to secure bail out of the 20 arrested. Achit Kumar, who allegedly supplied drugs to Aryan Khan, is one of the accused who was granted bail on Saturday.

Special judge VV Patil granted bail to applicants including Nupur Satija and Gomit Chopra—both were guests on the cruise. The duo was allegedly found in possession of drugs. Others include Kumar and Gopal Anand, Samir Sehgal, Manav Singhal, Bhaskar Arora—all associated with the event management company.
