The nine-year-old boy, who accidentally crashed into actor Simran Sachdev’s 63-year-old mother, will miss his school trip to Switzerland, thanks to the FIR filed against him in the matter. Nearly five months have passed since the Vanrai police filed a closure report saying the boy was booked because of a misunderstanding, but the Juvenile Justice Board in Dongri is yet to quash the case. 

The incident took place at a high-rise society in Goregaon on March 27. The boy was cycling on the campus, when he accidentally hit the elderly woman, who sustained injuries. Actor Simran filed a complaint at Vanrai police station and an FIR was filed.
