The Khar police investigating the murder of the 19-year-old psychology student have sought the opinion of forensic experts to understand the nature of injuries of one of the accused, Shree Jogdhankar. According to the police, Jogdhankar`s injuries are not consistent with the sequence of events, established through the questioning of co-accused Diya Padalkar and statements of guests from the New Year`s Eve party.

When asked if there`s a possibility of Jogdhankar`s injuries being self-inflicted, a senior officer said, "We have certain questions related to the accused`s injuries. To get clarity on the nature of the injuries, we have sent our queries to forensic experts."
