Maharashtra: Palghar police seize banned gutkha worth Rs 6.39 lakh, one held

"Gutkha worth Rs 6.39 lakh was seized from Javed Ahmed Zaheer alias Ahmed Ansari (38), who was arrested under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Food Safety and Standards Act," the official said

A shopkeeper was arrested for allegedly stocking and selling banned gutkha products in Palghar district, a police official said on Sunday, reported news agency PTI.
He was held in a raid on December 25, the Pelhar police station official said.
