In a major crackdown on Wednesday, the Kharghar Police in Maharashtra's Navi Mumbai conducted an operation at Hyde Park in Sector-35 in the Kharghar area, detaining over 100 suspected Bangladeshi nationals, officials said.
They said that the operation has caused a significant stir in the city, with more than 70 women among those detained. It is understood that the action was based on intelligence reports.
