MBVV police say they have sufficient evidence that 56-year-old plotted his live-in partner’s murder out of sexual frustration

The 56-year-old resident of Mira Road, who allegedly murdered his 32-year-old live-in partner and boiled her chopped body parts for disposal, has been found to be mentally fit, police said on Wednesday. Cops said they now have sufficient evidence to support their findings that it was a planned murder and not suicide, as the accused had claimed.
According to the Mira Bhayandar-Vasai Virar (MBVV) police, a psychometric test conducted at JJ hospital confirmed that his mental health is stable. This test evaluates a person’s learning, social, behavioural and personality development, which help recognise specific disorders, if any. It checks for psychological illnesses and identifies thinking styles, emotional processes and behaviour patterns that contribute to mental illness.
