Charkop police on Saturday arrested the 21-year-old rape accused who escaped from custody on July 2 while being taken to a Kandivli-based hospital.

The accused fled with handcuff’s on. Police said he cut off the handcuff’s at his friend’s house and threw them in a nullah at Nalasopara.
