Mumbai: 29-year-old man beaten up for opening his own shop in Sion, 4 arrested

Upset with not getting regular payment, Chourasiya left the job three months ago but this decision of leaving the job didn’t go well with his employer Ajeet Shrivastav

A 29-year-old man was assaulted in Mumbai's Sion area after opening his own shop, leading to the arrest of four individuals. The accused snatched Rs 50,000 and a gold chain from him and also took him to Sion Hospital for treatment. Cops have arrested all the accused in connection with the incident.

Nitesh Chourasiya, a resident of Dharavi and a 29-year-old, had been working as a manager at Riyansh Ethnic Wear in Kala Quilla, Sion, since 2022. Dissatisfied with irregular payment, Chourasiya left his job three months ago, which didn't go well with his employer, Ajeet Shrivastav.
