The incident took place when, the bus, running on the route no. 333 towards Mahakali Caves, was passing through the area and as it approached the Nelco Signal, a two-wheeler suddenly emerged from a bylane and collided with the right rear part of the bus

A 35-year-old man was on Friday morning seriously injured after Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) bus ran over his arm in Andheri (east) area of Mumbai, the officials said.

According to an official statement from the BEST's Command & Control Centre (Traffic), the incident took place at around 9:20 am near Nelco Signal in Andheri east. The incident involved a wet lease bus operated by Mateshwari Travels which was attached to the Majas depot.
