Actor Armaan Kohli was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Mumbai in drugs case on Sunday, said police.

NCB raided Kohli's house on Saturday and recovered some cocaine from his possession. The actor was then brought to the NCB office and questioned. An NCB official said that Kohli did not co-operate in the interrogation after which he was arrested.
As per officials, an NCB team on Saturday morning intercepted one major drug peddler, Ajay Raju Singh, from near Haji Ali and recovered 25 grams of MD from him. The said accused is a history-sheeter and has been previously involved in a 2018 case of Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) Mumbai wherein a huge quantity of Ephedrine was recovered.
A follow-up operation was launched in the afternoon of Saturday. Based on Singh’s revelation, a team of NCB, Mumbai, raided the house of Kohli in suburban Andheri and recovered small quantity of cocaine from him.

Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede told mid-day, "On Saturday evening NCB raided the house of Armaan Kohli and recovered small quantity of cocaine from him.”
An NCB official said, "Till now, the investigation has revealed that the case has international linkages as the cocaine seized has South American origin."
"NCB is probing the route and linkages used to bring the seized cocaine to Mumbai and the involvement of other traffickers," the official added.
An FIR has been registered in this case. Kohli has been arrested under Sections 21(a), 27(a), 28, 29, 30, & 35 of NDPS Act and Singh has been arrested under Sections 22b(a), 27A, 28, 29, 30, and 35 of NDPS Act.
