A 37-year-old woman approached the Bhayandar police after an unidentified caller flashed at her on a video call and sent her porn video on Whatsapp.

According to the police, the complainant who lives with her husband, daughter (18), son (15) and sister at Bhayandar West had received several messages and missed calls on her Whatsapp.
In the statement given to the police, the woman said that her daughter who was using the cell phone for online studies received a “hi” on Whatsapp to which she replied, “hello who is this”
She, then, received another message that said, “I miss you”.
While she was showing the message to her mother, they received a video call in which the caller was seen flashing in front of the camera. He also sent them a porn video later, said an officer from Bhayandar police station.
The complainant took screenshots of the call and messages. She then approached the police and registered a complaint against the unidentified caller.
“We have registered the case under section 354-A (i) (iii) of IPC also section 67 and 67(a) of IT Act and have started investigation,” said another officer.
