Pant Nagar police have booked two dentists on the charge of abetment of suicide, after 36-year-old woman killed herself following alleged harassment by the duo. They filed the case against Dr Sudhir Ramanna and Dr Deepika Dalal on the complaint of the deceased’s sister, Neeta Bendre.

Police have not arrested them yet. The deceased has been identified as Anamika Kalbandi, a resident of Garodia Nagar, Ghatkopar. She had a troubled marriage, as her husband would beat her up when drunk. Neeta alleged that Dr Ramanna, who runs Smera Dental Clinic in Ghatkopar, took advantage of this and made advances on Anamika, who worked as a dental assistant.
