A 35-year-old Andheri East resident was arrested by the Sahar police for allegedly molesting a seven-year-old girl of his neighbourhood on Monday.

According to police sources, the accused had a record of harassing children in the locality. A year ago, the victim’s mother had caught him in the act. She had, therefore, asked the children to stay away from the accused.
