The Dindoshi police have booked a 21-year-old man for the second time for allegedly raping a minor girl in the past two years. The accused had been arrested in 2019 and was in jail until he walked out on parole during the pandemic. The police believe the two had an affair.
The girl’s mother had approached the police after she went missing in the first week of this month. The teen, who will turn 18 in four months, returned on January 11. Her mother then learnt that she had been kidnapped by the same man, said a police officer. A medical examination showed she was raped this time, too.
