In a significant development, the Anti Narcotic Cell (ANC) Kandivali Unit in Mumbai has apprehended a major Charas supplier. A substantial quantity of 5.131 kilograms of high-grade Charas, valued at a staggering Rs 1.57 crore, has been confiscated.

The operation unfolded when ANC`s Kandivali unit received critical intelligence on Monday regarding an individual engaged in the illegal sale of Charas in Andheri East. Acting swiftly upon this tip-off, ANC officials swiftly organized a raid on a residence in Andheri East, resulting in the apprehension of Hafizur Rehman Abubakar Shaikh (aged 55). During the search, a substantial stash of 5.131 kilograms of Charas was seized.
