In a shocking development, a police constable stationed at Mumbai’s Arthur Road jail is arrested by NM Joshi Police for supplying drugs inside the prison.

The accused constable identified as Vivek Naik, is arrested with 71 grams of Charas (a form of cannabis) within the premises of Arthur Road Jail. A senior officer of the Mumbai Police has confirmed the development that NM Joshi Police Station has registered a case under relevant sections of the NDPS Act in connection with this incident.
