A teenage boy killed his mother in Vasai (West), Mumbai, on Tuesday evening. According to the police, the boy was infuriated with his mother’s behaviour as she would often pick up fights with the children over ‘trivial issues’.

“The woman lived in a flat with her two children - daughter and the accused son. Her husband passed away last year; she would often pick up fights with her children over trivial issues,” a police officer told mid-day.
