A 15-year-old tribal orphan from a village in Bhayander was allegedly abducted and raped by three men on Tuesday night. Police officials said the accused, all fishing boat workers, aged 20, 24, and 26, were arrested on Wednesday.
The girl lost her parents a few years back and was under the care of a family from the fishing community, a police officer said. According to a report in the Times of India, on Tuesday, around 11.30 pm, the victim was chatting with three friends, including a girl, when the men passed lewd remarks.
