In a major crackdown on the city’s drug racket, the Dongri police on Sunday seized huge quantities of Mephedrone (MD) worth R12.50 crore from the residence of Santacruz-based Deepak Bangera.

This has been one of the biggest seizures of the Mumbai Police since the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) started investigating the drug racket post actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
