A headless corpse of an unidentified man wrapped in plastic has been found in the Antop Hill area, on Thursday, cops said. Reportedly, the arms and legs of the corpse have been severed. The body was found behind the Assistant Commissioner of Police’s (ACP) office in Antop Hill Sector 7. The police were informed at around 7 am after the blood-stained plastic was discovered, say sources.


Cops rushed to the spot on the receiving the information and started investigation. According to police sources, the body of the corpse has been kept in plastic and an attempt to burn it has also been made. Joint efforts are being made by the Crime Branch Unit and Antop Hill Police to ascertain the identity of the body.


A police officer told mid-day, "The killer has not kept his head in plastic to ensure that the deceased person is not identified, we are checking all the CCTV footage of the area."
