Man held for calling, abusing cops to release frustration after fights with wife

The accused Hemant Kasara with the Manpada police

Manpada police have arrested a man for calling senior officers and abusing them every day for the past one year. The man has confessed and said that he would abuse the officers to release his frustration after fights with his wife. The police managed to trace and arrest him from the Deshlepada area.

A police officer said, “For the past one year, we have been receiving calls and the person would abuse both men and women officers. Initially, the officers did not pay any attention, but on Gudhi Padwa, the call got transferred to the senior inspector. When he inquired, he was told that this was a daily occurrence. The senior inspector immediately asked for the caller to be traced.” The accused Hemant Kasara, 36, is a resident of Deshlepada, Dombivli, and is unemployed.
