The police are on the lookout for a man, who not only stole the patrolling motorcycle of a beat marshal from the premises of Virar police station, but later fled with a brand new two-wheeler that belonged to a teenager.
The incident came to light when the teenager’s father Subhash Yadav registered an FIR at the Manikpur police station. The teenager, Anil Yadav, said he mistook the thief for a policeman. Anil said, “I was with my friend at Suncity ground for a video shoot on Friday. Around 9 am, a man riding a police patrolling motorcycle requested for a test drive.”
