Police had apprehended 11-year-old boy based on complaint by girl’s mother, but investigation has revealed that a 25-year-old was behind the crime

An 11-year-old boy, who was apprehended and sent to remand home in connection with a case of rape of a five-year-old girl in Boisar, is innocent, revealed investigations. MIDC police, which was probing the crime that took place on September 13, has found that a 25-year-old man from the same locality as the two minors was behind the crime.
The incident took place on September 13 when the minor girl was alone at home. The accused allegedly took her to the terrace of the building, raped her and brought her back home.
