Mumbai Police on Tuesday said that its Powai Police on Tuesday nabbed a man allegedly involved in multiple cases of thefts in the city and seized as many as five auto rickshaws following his arrest.

According to the police, a complaint was received by the Powai Police last month, the complainant had told the police that on the intervening night of September 22 and 23, he had parked his auto rickshaw at spot on Jogeshwari-Vikhroli link road and the auto rickshaw was allegedly stolen. On the complaint, the police registered a case of theft and began to investigate the matter further.
