Ghatkopar police catch trio who robbed bikers and scooter riders at knifepoint during late-night hours; The main accused, a tempo driver from Titwala, along with his aides, targeted riders in deserted areas and fled with stolen vehicles and valuables.

One of the men alighted from the tempo and asked Dethe to hand over his mobile phone. When he refused, the main accused, Hussain Memon, allegedly pulled out a knife, threatened him, and snatched the mobile phone along with the Honda Dio scooter (worth Rs 80,000).
The Ghatkopar police have busted a three-member gang that allegedly roamed around in a tempo and robbed bikers and scooter riders at knifepoint during late-night hours.

The latest incident occurred around 1.30 am on November 11 near the Home Guard Training Centre, Ghatkopar West. The complainant, Suraj Dethe, an employee of a private firm, was riding pillion on a scooter driven by his friend Yash Kamble when a three-wheeler tempo suddenly approached from the opposite direction and stopped across their path
