A 60-year-old building watchman in Tardeo has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a nine-year-old boy inside the residential premises. The incident occurred on Sunday and came to light after the child informed his family.
Police said the boy was playing in the compound when the watchman approached him near an isolated corner near the meter room. The accused allegedly hugged the child, pulled his cheeks forcefully, and tried to bite them, causing the minor to panic. According to the complaint, the watchman then took the child to the meter room and shut the door from inside, where he is suspected of having touched the boy inappropriately.
