Police said Pak national Maheshkumar Bhulchand Tekwani (26), had furnished a Pune address to secure the licence, which violates his visa rules.

Tekwani was arrested on Saturday night at 9 pm and was yesterday remanded in police custody for two days by the court of Judicial Magistrate (First Class). Police constable H P Gambhire from the Foreigners Registration Office (FRO) had lodged a complaint against Tekwani on Saturday afternoon. Tekwani had an offence registered against him at the Kondhwa police station on October 1 this year, after which it was revealed that was residing illegally in Pune city.
