Pune: RPF cop holds runaway minor captive, rapes her for six days

The incident, which happened in September, came to light after Chhattisgarh cops arrested her boyfriend for kidnapping and her statement was recorded

The Government Railway Police (GRP) is on the lookout for a Railway Protection Force (RPF) head constable, who was based in Pune, for allegedly keeping a 17-year-old in confinement for six days and raping her repeatedly. An associate of the accused, who also allegedly sexually assaulted the minor, has been arrested. 

The minor had elope d with Leeladhar Thakur, a 22-year-old man, from Chhattisgarh on September 9. When the duo reached Pune railway station on September 12, they were spotted by Head Constable Anil Pawar who saw them sitting cluelessly on the premises. When he came to know about their situation, he allegedly took them to an NGO office run by him and held both captive.
