A lookout circular LOC was issued on Friday against Anmol Bishnoi in connection with the Salman Khan firing case an official said reported the PTIAnmol Bishnoi is the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence BishnoiAnmol Bishnoi had earlier in a social media post claimed the responsibility for the firing outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khans residence in Bandra west the official saidTwo men had shot multiple rounds at Salman Khans home on April 14 the police had earlier saidAccording to the PTI the official said that the police is likely to take custody of Lawrence Bishnoi who is currently lodged in a jail in Sabarmati in Gujarat and was also contemplating invoking the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act MCOCA in the caseAnmol Bishnoi had claimed responsibility for the firing and a probe too showed his involvement following which the LOC was issued by Mumbai police the official added as per the PTIAnmol and Lawrence Bishnoi have been named as wanted accused in the case Anmol Bishnoi stays in Canada and travels to the USA However the IP address of the Facebook post through which he claimed responsibility of the firing was traced to Portugal the official said reported the PTIThe alleged shooters Vicky Gupta 24 and Sagar Pal 21 both residents of Bihar have been arrested along with Sonu Kumar Subhash Chander Bishnoi 37 and Anuj Thapan 32 who had provided them two countrymade pistols and cartridges on March 15 as per policeAs per police Sonu Bishnoi and Thapan hail from Fazilka close to Lawrence Bishnois native place in PunjabBoth were also accused along with Lawrence and Anmol Bishoi in a firing case registered in Gangapur in Punjab he saidMeanwhile two men arrested from Punjab in connection with Salman Khan firing case were on Friday produced before a Mumbai court that remanded them to police custody till April 30 the PTI reportedThe crime branch had on Thursday arrested the duo who had allegedly provided weapons and cartridges to the shooters from PunjabThe police informed the court that the accused were key persons in the crime and were arrested based on technical evidenceThey need to be interrogated to find out who supplied them with weapons and asked them to give the same to the two shooters arrested earlier police said according to the PTIMumbai Police have alleged that Chander and Thapan had come to Panvel on March 15 to hand over two countrymade pistols and 38 live rounds to the shooters Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta The duo were the shooters arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch for shooting outside Salman Khans residence in Bandra westThe court had on Thursday remanded Pal 21 and Gupta 24 to police custody till April 29with PTI inputs
