New Delhi: CBI on Tuesday took over the probe in the high-profile murder case of Sheena Bora and registered a case here against her mother Indrani Mukerjea and two others for allegedly hatching a criminal conspiracy to kill her.

After Maharashtra Government announced handing over the probe to the agency 10 days back, CBI's's Special Crime Branch lodged a case in the designated court in New Delhi against Indrani, her former husband and Sanjay Khanna and former driver Shyamvar Pinturam Rai.
