The Khar police on Monday opposed the bail application of Shree Jogdhankar, accused in the alleged killing of 19-year-old student Jhanavi Kukreja on New Year’s Eve. In their response to the bail plea, they also claimed that he threw Kukreja’s body down from the second floor to the ground floor of Bhagwanti Heights, after having dragged it down from the fifth floor.

Jogdhankar had applied for bail on medical and educational grounds. He was brought to court from Taloja jail. The court adjourned the hearing till March 2, when it will hear the bail applications of both Jogdhankar and the other accused, Diya Padalkar.
