After a teenaged girl’s body was found in a steel tank in Nerul near Palm Beach Road on May 21, the Neurl police are yet to ascertain her identity. The steel container had the following engraving — ‘From Aryan, Ashok bhaubeej bhet 13/11/ 2015’ — in Marathi.

Primary observations by doctors have revealed that the girl was hit on the head with a blunt object. Police have not come across any missing person complaints yet.
