Four people were rescued from the terrace of the Notan Villa building at Khar West, after a fire broke out on the 4th floor of a 7-storey building Thursday morning. This was the second fire incident in the building in just over six months. 

The fire brigade has suspected glitches in the internal fire fighting system of the building. As per law, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation can revoke the occupation certificate of a building if the firefighting system of a building is found faulty.
