The results for Common Entrance test (MHT-CET 2014) were announced by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, on Thursday , June 5, 2014 at 11.00 pm on their website.
 
The exam was held for admission to all Health Sciences degree courses, for the academic year 2014-2015, and was scheduled on May 8, 2014. The qualifying exam enables students’ admissions to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, Physiotherapy and BSc (Nursing) courses in the state.

The common entrance test was conducted at district headquarters in Maharashtra at 390 centers. Total of 1,48,394 candidates appeared for the examination. Out of which 4111 students from the open category and 3395 students from the reserve categories are eligible for admissions in Medical and Dental Courses.  

The merit list of MHT-CET will be used for admission to government, municipal, corporate or government-aided colleges and unaided private colleges of Health Sciences degree courses.

The selection process for admission for Health Science courses shall be conducted during the second week of June by filling the preference form at the following four centers : Grant Medical College, Mumbai, B.J Medical college, Pune, Government Medical College,Nagpur and Government Medical College, Aurangabad.
