Kasurde's 17-year-old son is doing his diploma in engineering and 12-year-old daughter gave her class 7 exams. He lives in Kurla with his family and 60-year-old mother.
Authorities from the school said, "We have decided to discontinue the services of Kasurde and have told him verbally. We will hold the meeting with parents once the school starts and ask them to suggest a bus service they want. We have always given the preference to parents."
However, from sources it is learnt that Kasurde's bus service is also being lent to the secondary section of Sane Guruji Vidyalaya, but there have been no complaints here against him.
Bhima Landge, Sub-Inspector of Shivaji Park police station said, "We arrested Kasurde at 3 pm from his residence in Kurla. The parents of the school had filed a complaint so late only because their kids were appearing for exams. He will be produced in the Holiday Court of Bhoiwada on Sunday. We are still investigating the matter."
Parents of the primary section filed a police complaint on April 17 at Shivaji Park police station. They alleged that Kasurde had molested several girls under eight years old over a two-month period. The matter was taken to the school management, after which the police complaint was filed.
