Says NSG commando O P Shukla, who alleged ill treatment at the hands of his superior, during his deposition at a special court

Three days after MiD DAY reported that NSG commando Om Prakash Shukla was called to the country's capital after he complained about the alleged ill-treatment of his unit, ('NSG commando called to Delhi', January 29), the special army court told him to reveal the entire truth about his allegations regarding his superiors.

MiD DAY had reported how Major Mohammad Ismail allegedly made the commandos of his unit in Marol polish his shoes, wash his laundry and run sundry errands.
After receiving orders from the Director General, Shukla reported to the special court set up at Noida yesterday. Shukla deposed in front of a colonel and lieutenant. Sources said that his statement lasted for three hours.
During his deposition, Shukla revealed the harassment he went through and said, "I have revealed the entire story about my suffering. I want justice and will fight for it till I am alive.
I do not want anybody else to suffer like I did." He added, "The court will decide and I am sure I will be awarded justice."
According to a source from Delhi, "The court will record Major Ismail's statement today in the
matter and then make its decision."
