All the accused of the Govandi rape case of a 19-year-old girl have been arrested by the Mumbai Police. Two of the minor accused will be produced before the Juvenile Justice Board.

Shivaji Nagar cops had launched a manhunt for two others for the alleged gangrape of the 19-year-old. The survivor, a resident of Shivaji Nagar, was returning from work late at night on Friday when four accused forcefully took her to a hut and raped her.
According to Shivaji Nagar cops, the survivor works in catering. “When the survivor reached Matti Road, four men, one of whom was known to her, asked her to come with him, claiming he wanted to have a chat,” said an officer from Shivaji Nagar Police station.
The accused then took her to a hut and raped her. The woman called the police control room station after the accused left and asked for help. A team from Shivaji Nagar police station immediately reached the spot and registered a detailed statement and started a search operation. Two of the accused are 17 years old, and others are 20 years of age.
