BEST has decided to screen songs on its LCD screens as passengers are bored of the ads currently being screened
Soon, a ride in a BEST bus will remind you of the good ol' Chitrahaar days. BEST Undertaking has created an entertainment package that will be played on the LCD television sets in buses.

The specially designed show called Mumbai Beats will feature songs, advertisements and social messages.

According to BEST officials, the package will not only entertain commuters but will help the Undertaking earn extra revenue.
"We started the service in a few buses last week. Soon, all buses will have it," said Dilip Patel, chairman, BEST.
The show will also have bus conductors and drivers advising the passengers on safe travel.
According to one bus conductor, "Passengers are enjoying their ride with this new system. Overall, we have received a positive response."
However, commuters don't agree. "It is a good effort, but due to the traffic noise, it is impossible to listen to the songs," said Nisha Patil, who commutes by BEST daily.
