Railway Police have arrested a booking clerk for allegedly molesting a woman at Mulund railway station.

The accused, Yashwant Keni (33), ON Friday followed the woman, a resident of suburban Mulund, when she was on her way to office at Vikhroli, police said.

"According to the victim, the accused held her hand and asked her name. He subsequently followed her and held her shoulder," they said.

"The victim managed to escape and boarded the train. She got down at Vikhroli where she narrated the incident to her employer," police said.

"The employer asked her to lodge a complaint following which she returned to Mulund station and complained to station master," police added.

"Subsequently, the incident was brought to the notice of police after which a molestation case was registered against the clerk," police said.

Keni will be produced in a local court on Saturday.
