Bhujbal, who left the Sena in 1991 to join Congress and then NCP when it was floated in 1999, was accompanied by son Pankaj. Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray was also present, NCP sources said.
Thackeray, 82, is undergoing treatment for weakness and fever, doctors said. He was admitted to the hospital on February 26 after he complained of fever and weakness.
