After issuing orders of attachment of properties worth Rs 223 crore of five real estate companies including DB Realty in connection with the 2G scam, sources in the Enforcement Directorate said that they are likely to issue more orders of about Rs 60-70 crore in the coming days.

They said that all three agencies probing the scam, ED, CBI and I-T department, are expected to file a status report before a Delhi court on Thursday.

On Tuesday, the ED issued the orders for attachment, in connection with the alleged bribe of Rs 200 crore paid to Kalaignar TV, owned by DMK - whose member A Raja was the telecom minister when the scam allegedly happened - in exchange for a 2G licence.

However, a day after, DB Realty denied receiving any such orders. The value of DB Realty properties affected by the order, the agency said, is stated to be Rs 52 crore.

The other companies that have been issued similar orders are Dynamix Realty (Rs 134 crore), Conwood Construction and Developers (Rs 22 crore), Nihar Constructions (Rs 1.10 crore) and Eversmile Construction Company (Rs 13 crore).

The agency has made the CBI charge sheet the basis for the order and the action has been taken under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

The properties attached and bank accounts frozen include land in Yerwada near Pune, unsold properties at an upscale Mumbai mall, and flats worth crores in Mumbai.

According to ED's order, the land at Yerwada is worth Rs 13 crore and owned by Eversmile Construction Company. Another property at Shagun Mall on Gen A K Vaidya Marg in Mumbai, owned by Conwood Constructions, has been attached.
