Instead of firing her director for spoiling a costly item number in Love Sex Dhoka, she was rolling with laughter

"Normally Ekta is known as a fiery producer, who is said to throw cellphones at people when she's angry. But she wasn't upset at all when Dibakar shot his first item number in LSD and made a mess of it.
In fact, Ekta was laughing when he told her about it. The item song is part of a film scene, where the protagonist is shooting his own version of a Yash Raj film.

The item song is called I Can't Hold It Any Longer," says a source on the sets of LSD.
Dibakar adds, "It was bizarre. In the film, the song is being shot by a raw young film director who messes it up because of bad direction.
So I had to shoot the item number badly on purpose, which turned out to be quite a task for me."
Ekta says, "I have seen the rough cuts of Love Sex Dhoka and loved it. I have never laughed so much during the making of a film.
The item song is being shot by a debutant FTII guy from the north and most filmmakers from there have an Aditya Chopra hang up.
It's hilarious how a newcomer would shoot such a song and Dibakar has shot it like that."
