It also said that the victim will be provided with financial assistance after the National Commission for Women (NCW) held that "prima facie rape had been proved".
Chief Minister Ashok Chavan said, "This matter will be given to a fast track court so that this case comes up for hearing quickly and justice is delivered soon."
Yesterday, he also met NCW chairperson Girija Vyas who had come with a team to enquire into the incident.
