Rahul Raj Singh, the boyfriend of late TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee, is in the news again. The Versova police recently registered an FIR against him in a cheating case.

The case was registered by one Geeta Patel, who claimed she had given him Rs 25 lakh to produce a Hindi film back in 2011. However, according to the complaint, he did not make the film, and hadn’t responded to her the last five years. Patel approached the Versova police two months ago.

The Versova cops are now investigating the case.

Rahul’s name came into prominence after Pratyusha committed suicide on April 1 this year. There have been a number of allegations of abuse and torture levelled against him by Pratyusha’s family and friends. In the aftermath of Pratyusha’s alleged suicide, a few women came forward and claimed that they were conned by Rahul.
