THE railway police claimed to have solved the murder of the woman whose body was found in a suitcase at Sandhurst Road station on Tuesday with the arrest of her husband and his brother last night.
The RPF and GRP are also looking for her husband's second brother in connection with the murder.
According to the police, the victim was from Bihar. Her family contacted them after seeing her pictures being flashed on television.
Her husband, who is an intern at a Mumbra hospital, allegedly had another wife in Bihar.
The couple fought regularly after the victim found out about his second wife until he brought her to Mumbra a few days back.
Police said the husband and his two brothers killed the victim by strangulation and stuffed her body in the suitcase.
One of the three men left the suitcase at Sandhurst Road. Cops are in the process of verifying whether they raped her as well since semen was found. The victim was four months pregnant.
