Jumps off fifth floor claiming that he does not love her
Twenty-year-old Anupama Acharya, an air hostess with Jet Airways, committed suicide by jumping from the fifth floor of Jheel Darshan building in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.
According to the police, Anupama jumped off her boyfriend'su00a0apartment in a fit of rage after having a tiff over smoking. Sameer Yajurvedi (24), the boyfriend is a co-pilot with the same airways.
Acharya was taken to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead on arrival, said a police officer. The statement of heru00a0boyfriend has also been recorded and the police have registered a case of suicide.
The police have also informed the girl's family about the incident.
