A blaze broke out at the Reserve Bank of India building in Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai's corporate hub. The fire occured early Thursday morning at around 8:30 am.

Officials have said that the fire is said to be a rank 2 and operations to bring it under control are underway.
"We have sent over eight fire engines and six tankers to control the fire which broke out early this morning. No other information as the cause of fire or casualties are reported yet," said the fire control official.
Sources confirmed that there was a mild panic in the vicinity due to the wide scale of the fire.
