Two commuters and a railway gangman died on tracks in three separate accidents on Saturday

Three people died on railway tracks in three separate accidents on Saturday.


A 52 year-old man died on the railway line near Sion station after he was hit by a Kasara-bound train at 2.21 pm. The Dadar railway police is probing his death.


Another person, aged 40, was injured at 6.15 pm on the railway track between Kandivali and Malad. He was rushed to Shatabdi hospital in Kandivali where he was declared dead.


Also, a gangman was hit by a Kasara-bound local at 3.50 pm. The 45 year-old Shahapur resident was pronounced dead at the Rukminibai hospital in Kalyan.
