Station Manager V N Shukla in his letter written on 19 May 2015 has accused RPF jawans of having "connivance" with unauthorised agents.
"Always availability of such un-authorised agents in railway premises can not be possible without malafide intention as such connivance of RPF staff and railway staff concerned can not be ruled out," the letter said.
"During the inspection, it is noticed that a gang of unauthorised ticket agents are found available if front of current reservation counters and reservation hall all the time and those can be seen on CCTV available in RPF office. They are cheating the passengers," it added.
A senior railway official confirmed to have received the letter. However, a senior RPF official said, "Station manager is a gazetted officer empowered to take action under various railway acts. Such officer can not send vague and amorphous complaints like this. He should have given specific inputs about the touts if there were.
