Wadala man 'assaulted' by Shiv Sena workers seeks police protection

The man, Hiramani Tiwari was accompanied by BJP leader Kirit Somaiya when he visited the police station for filing his complaint seeking protection.

Hiramani Tiwari, a Wadala resident, who was allegedly assaulted and tonsured by Shiv Sena workers has filed a fresh complaint at Wadala TT police station about his being threatened by the accused on social media and has sought protection.

Tiwari was accompanied by BJP leader Kirit Somaiya when he visited the police station for filing his complaint. In his complaint dated December 28, Tiwari has requested to ensure his as well as his family's security.
